  EMERICK
  
    Ophelia G. Emerick, 101, of Confluence died April 13, 1994, at her home.
  Born Aug. 29, 1892, in Hyndman.  A daughter of the late Joseph and Mary
  (Graham) Watts.  Preceded in death by her husband, Howard; a son, Sherman,
  and three sisters. Surviving are a son, Cordell Emerick of Cumberland, Md.;
  a foster son, Tom Reynolds of Montgomery, Ala.; seven grandchildren and
  three great-grandchildren.  Member of the United Methodist Church of
  Confluence, the Women's Benefit Association, the Ursina American Legion
  Auxiliary and the Cumberland, Md., chapter of the OES. 
    Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral
  Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, with
  the Rev. John Snyder officiating.  Interment, Cooks Mills Cemetery.
