Born Nov. 30 1918, in Somerset, daughter of William Henry and Clara Elizabeth (Miller) Barnett. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ralph Wesley Emert, who died June 3, 1998; daughter, Judith Glessner; great-granddaughter, Andria Keller; brothers, Logan "Pete," Ray "Barney," Lloyd "Bus," Harry and James Barnett; sisters, Hazel Friedline, Irene Pyle, Cora Ayers, Lena McKelligot, Stella Mae Winship and Clara Lucille Snyder. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Glenden R. (Carol) Keller, Shanksville; Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Thoricht, Bellview, Fla.; and Miss Patricia Sue Emert, Somerset; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A 1936 graduate of Somerset High School. Member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church where she was very active and taught Sunday school. She was also a 4-H leader for many years and retired as a clerk for the former J.J. Newberry's. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Robert Way officiating.
