  EMERT
  
  Donald Emert, 65, Somerset RD 3, died August 28, 1983, in Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 3, 1918, in Lincoln Township, a son of the
  late Norman and Florence (Miller) Emert.  Survived by his wife, Hazel Moore,
  and these children: Marjory, wife of Ronald Bittner; Sarah, wife of John
  Steinkirchner; end Nancy, wife of Donald Ash, all of Somerset; and 10
  grandchildren.  Also survived by two sisters, Lizzy Cramer, Friedens RD 1;
  and Mrs. Clyde Butler, Somerset RD 3; and two half-brothers, John Moore and
  Norman Emert.  Member of Beulah United Methodist Church, former partner in
  Somerset Taxi and former manager of Sagmore Farms Trailer Court.  Friends
  will be received after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, where services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
  Herbert Lohr officiating.  Interment, Beulah Cemetery.
