  Harold L. "Dutch" Emert, 78 of Jennerstown, died May 23, 1976 at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born March 13, 1898 in Somerset, a son of Charles Henry
  and Grace (Keifer) Emert.  Preceded in death by parents, infant daughter,
  Sara, and infant son, Robert, also a brother and three sisters.  Survived by
  widow, the former Helen Bruner and these children: Harold L. Jr, married to
  the former Janie Crist, state of Colorado; Jack B., married to the former
  Audrey Upzolder, Johnstown; Doris E., wife of David Andrews, Miami, Fla.
  and Charles R., married to the former, Mildred Leiberman, Bloomington,
  Ind.; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.  Brother of William F.,
  Somerset.  Member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church in Jennerstown where he
  was a former church councilman.  Charter member of Jennerstown Volunteer
  Fire Department.  Was a justice of the peace in Jennerstown for 50 years.
  Was a proprietor of H.L. Emert Garage in Jennerstown for 23 years.  Later
  was employed in the machine shop of Consolidation Coal Company for many
  years and retired in 1965 from Penn Machine Company, Johnstown.  Friends
  received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 79 p.m. Tuesday in the Joseph G.
  Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where funeral service
  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf
  officiating.  Interment, Lutheran Cemetery, Jennerstown.  Jennerstown
  Volunteer Fire Company service at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
