  Helen B. Emert, 90, White Star Residence, Jennerstown, died May 24, 1990,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 9, 1899, in Jenner Township, daughter of
  Curtis and Sarah (Jacobs) Bruner.  Preceded in death by parents; stepfather,
  Arthur Spangler; husband, Harold L. "Dutch" died in 1976; infant daughter,
  Sara; infant son, Robert; son, Jack, and two step-brothers, John and Earl
  Spangler.  Survived by these children: Rev. Harold L. Jr., married to the
  former Janie Crist, Grand Junction, Colo.; Doris E., wife of David Andrews,
  Deland, Fla., and Charles R., married to the former Mildred Lieberman, Grand
  Rapids, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1
  great-greatgrandchild.  Step-sister of Henrietta, widow of Rev. Ralph
  Kaufman, Shrewsbury, Pa.; C.M. Spangler, Winter Gardens, Fla., and Miriam,
  wife of Charles Raley, Jennerstown.  Member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran
  Church.  Past member of former J.B.J. Joint School Board and auxiliary to
  Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department.  Resident of Jennerstown for 70
  years.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m.
  Sunday, Rev. Edward N. Corneilson and Rev. Harold L. Emert Jr.  Interment,
  Lutheran Cemetery, Jennerstown.
