  EMERT
  
  Joan B. Emert, 38, of Finleyville, formerly of Somerset, died Nov. 23,
  1973, in Monongahela Hospital.  She was born in Somerset on April 14, 1935,
  a daughter of Homer and Catherine (Miller) Brick.  She is survived by her
  parents, husband, Charles J., and one brother, James Brick of Somerset.  She
  was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, past president of the
  altar guild of the church and member of David Meyer Missionary Society.  She
  was president of the Union Township Farm Women and a graduate of Somerset
  Area Schools.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday (today) in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted Monday at
  1 p.m. with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment, Mt. Zion
  Church Cemetery.
