  John Gilbert Emert, 78, Chestnut Ridge, formerly of Somerset, died Aug. 28,
  2006, at Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. Born May 31, 1928, in Somerset County,
  a son of Charles William and Edna May (Woy) Emert. Preceded in death by
  parents; wife, the former Evelyn Fallecker, who died in 2003; brother, Monroe
  Emert and sister, Ruth. Survived by two stepdaughters; brothers and sisters,
  Mrs. Pearl Shaffer, Somerset, Mrs. Thelma M. Kowalczyk, Poland, Ohio, Mrs.
  Ethel M. Deist, Manheim, Charles Ray Emert, Cleveland, Ohio, david W. Emert,
  Somerset. There will be no viewing or visitation. A graveside service will be
  held at the convenience of the family. Interment, Lichty Cemetery. Arrangements
  by the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.
