Born June 24, 1948, in Lincoln Township a daughter of Howard William "Pap" and Lottie Grace (Slickerman) Emert. Preceded in death by parents. Sister of James W. Emert, married to the former Mary Bumbarger of Somerset, Linda Sue Emert of Somerset, Billy Lee Emert of Somerset. Also survived by nephews, James W. Emert and fiance Angie of Elizabethtown and Joel H. Emert and friend Karen Weigle of Stoystown and very close friend Earl Boyts of Somerset with whom she spent much time. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and enjoyed working with children. Judy enjoyed her family very much and spent many hours visiting at Patriot Manor. She was the best sister in the world and will be greatly missed. She had graduated in 1966 from Somerset High School. Worked as a cashier for the former JJ Newberry Co. from 1966-1976 and worked as a billing clerk for Somerset Rural Electric Cooperative from 1976-2001. Friends received 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Friends also received 1 hour prior to the service at the church where service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Brenda J Shaffer and the Rev. Ray Gnagey officiating. Interment Beulah Cemetery.
