Born June 3, 1916, in Lincoln Township. Son of the late Edward Ellsworth and Mayme Catherine (Brant) Emert. Also preceded in death by daughter, Judith Glessner; great-granddaughter, Andrea Keller; brothers, Earl, Elbert and Richard Emert; sisters, Margaret Emery and Madie Eppley. Survived by widow, the former Anna Belle Barnett, to whom he was married 62 years, and these children: Mrs. Glendon R. (Carol) Keller of Shanksville; Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Thoricht of Bellview Fla.; Patricia Sue Emert of Duncansville; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Member of St Mark's Lutheran Church, Shanksville. Dragline operator for Allehgheny Coal Co., retiring in 1984. A 1936 graduate of Somerset High School. Friends received from 7 to 9 today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev.
