  EMERT
  
  William F. Emert, 84, West Fairview Street, Somerset, died Oct. 5, 1984, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 3, 1900, in Somerset, a son of the
  late Charles H. and Grace (Kifer) Emert.  Preceded in death by parents, and
  one brother, Harold.  Survived by his wife, Mary (Baker) Emert; a son,
  William S., Fountain Valley, Calif.; and a daughter, Susanne, wife of
  Francis Michalak, Corapolis; and three grandchildren.  Member of First
  Christian Church, Somerset, retired employee of Westinghouse Electric Co.,
  East Pittsburgh Plant, after 50 years service, and member of the
  International Union of Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers, AFL-CIO Local
  601, Pittsburgh.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service
  will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Gene C. Sellers
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
