  Brian M. Emery, 62, Somerset, passed on Oct. 21, 2006. Born June 18, 1944, in
  Pottstown, the son of the late Elbert and Helen (Townsend) Emery. Preceded in
  death by his parents and brother, david. Survived by his children, Brian Jr.
  and wife, Jeannine of Pasadena, Md., Scott and wife, Susie of Johnstown,
  Kimberly and husband, Shermon Shanks of Baltimore, Md., Bonnie and husband,
  Tony Wigfall of Baltimore, Md., and Richard and wife, Ann of Friedens; 13
  grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Elizabeth Caron of Portland,
  Maine; and loving longtime companion, Irene Leslie. He was a veteran of the
  U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the F. O. E. Aerie 1800 in
  Somerset. Friends will be received from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 8
  p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Rev. Patricia Nelson
  officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
