Enfield, 52, of Rockford, Ill., formerly of Somerset died Friday, Jan. 22, 1993, in his home after an extended illness. Son of Ross L. and Helen F. Woodrow Enfield, he was born in Somerset on Dec. 9, 1940. A graduate of Somerset High School. Was member of wrestling team and played drums in the band. Moved to Rockford in 1959 and married Mary N. Dudgeon in Rockford on Jan. 14, 1961. Member of North Park Church of Christ. Former owner and president of REPCO; vice president and partner of Sandray Precision Grinding from 1980 to 1987. Vice president of engineering of Johnstown-Reynolds from 1966 to 1980. Also employed by Barber Coleman, W.F. and John Barnes and Dixon Automatic. Was an outdoorsman, fishing, hunting and wood chopping. He and his brother were Eagle Scouts. Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughter, Lisa; brother, Ronald (Janet) Enfield; sister, Judi (Frank) Rogers; stepfather, Dwight Glass, all of Rockford; 10 nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Laura, in 1972. Funeral services will be held at Fred C. Olson Mortuary, 1001 Second Ave., at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, with Leo Richardson of North Park Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
