Her death was caused by a heart ailment and dropsy. She was a daughter of Douglas and Sarah Ann Folk Engle, and is survived by these brothers and sisters: Lester Engle, Elk Lick Township; Ray Engle, Berlin; Sadie, wife of Martin Wahl, of Summit Township; Mrs. Emma Menhorn, Boynton, and Carrie, wife of Elmer Vought, residing near Boynton. Funeral services were held at the home where she died, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. Ira S. Monn, of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, of which Miss Engle was a faithful member. Interment was in the St. Paul Cemetery, Elk Lick Township, under the direction of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas of Salisbury. Meyersdale Republican, September 23, 1943
