Engle, 88, 161 Front St., Jenners, died Sept. 7, 1985, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Sept. 26, 1896, in Pekin, Md., daughter of William and Ann (Thompson) Gray. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Jesse E., died March 25, 1970, who was a barber in Jenners for 43 years; four brothers; three sisters and great-grandson, Jesse Engle. Survived by these children: Richard, married to former Phyllis Hantz, Austin, Texas; Dolores Flanigan, at home; Margaret, wife of Leland Larmon, Ft. Washington, Md.; Molly Burroughs, Great Falls, Va.; and Jesse, married to former Elizabeth DeVore, Everett; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Hinebaugh, Meyersdale. Charter member of Jenner Grace Brethren Church, where she served as pianist and treasurer for many years. Friends were received Sunday evening and will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev.
