  MRS. BERTHA ENGLE
  
    Mrs. Bertha Engle, 83, of Berlin, died March 21, 1976.  She was born Sept.
  25, 1892, in Elk Lick Township, daughter of Elias and Caroline (Kinsinger)
  Handwork.
    She was preceeded in death by husband, Ray E. Engle who died in 1972 and
  infant son.  She is survived by these children: Robert, Mineral Point; Mrs.
  Nada Schrock, Berlin; Mrs. Harry (Helen) Deist, Blairsville; and Mrs. James
  ( Marian ) Gindlesperger and Ray Jr., both of Berlin; also eight
  grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Lydia Green, Salisbury, and Mrs. Verna
  Bowser, Frostburg, Md. and Victor Handwork, Meyersdale.
    She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Roxbury.
    Funeral service was conducted at Johnson & Son Funeral Home, Berlin on
  March 23 with the Rev. Herald V. Seese officiating.
    Interment, St. Paul's Cemetery, Meyersdale RD 1.
