CATHERINE ENGLE

  Mrs. Catherine (Wagner) Engle, widow of William Engle, passed away at six 
o'clock on Tuesday morning, March 5, at her home in Vim, Meyersdale R.D. 3.
  She was born August 15, 1859 in Maryland, and at the time of her death was 
aged 80 years, 6 months and 20 days.  She was a daughter of the late Peter and 
Christina (Gephart) Wagner.
  Her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Cosgrove, of Lonaconing, survives, and these step-
children: Henry and Irvin Engle, of Meyersdale; Mrs. Mary E. Thomas of 
Connellsville; and Conrad E. Engle of Akron, Ohio.  Five step-grandchildren also 
survive.
  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Irvin 
Engle home on Keystone Street in charge of Rev. Nelson C. Brown, pastor of Amity 
Evangelical and Reformed Church of which the deceased was a member.  Interment 
will be made in the Reformed Church cemetery in charge of W. C. Price & Son, 
local morticians.
