  ENGLE
  
  Clyde Evans Engle Sr., 68, 121 Corliss St., Salisbury, died July 23, 1996.
  at his residence.  Born Dec. 31, 1927, in Salisbury, a son of the late Leroy
  and Olive (Shoemaker) Engle.  Also preceded in death by his wife, the former
  Shirley Hotchkiss.  Survived by two sons: Ronald and Clyde Jr., both of
  Salisbury; four daughters: Susan Engle and Patricia Ackerman, both of
  Meyersdale: Donna Engle, Confluence; Judy Stayrook, Berlin; five brothers:
  Franklin, Mount Pleasant; Wendell, Olmstead Falls. Ohio; Denver, Charles
  and Francis, all of Salisbury; three sisters: Betty Pletcher, Salisbury;
  Rohama Deitke, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Evelyn Jean Engle, Meyersdale,
  and three grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 1I am. to 1 p.m
  Thursday at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services will be
  conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. David Fetter officiating.
  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
