DORA JEAN ENGLE

  Dora Jean Engle, daughter of Lester and Gertrude (Hersh) Engle of Elk Lick 
Township, died in the Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, June 6, 1940, at the age 
of 2 years, 9 months and 3 days.  Her death was caused by pneumonia and heart 
disease.
  Funeral service was conducted at the home of the parents, last Sunday, at 2:30 
p.m., by the Rev. A. M. Wright, pastor of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed 
Church, Salisbury.  Interment was in the St. Paul Church Cemetery, under the 
direction of the Salisbury mortician, Stanley M. Thomas.
  Surviving the child are her parents, and the following brothers and sisters:  
Woodrow, of Salisbury, Wilbur, Phyllis, Hilda, Wayne and Audrey, at home.
