ELIZABETH ENGLE

  Mrs. Elizabeth (Smith) Engle, 72, wife of Theodore Engle, died at 4:50 o'clock 
Monday afternoon at her home, in Summit Twp.  She was born on Mar. 11, 1872, a 
daughter of the late Henry and Christina (Myers) Smith.
  She is survived by her husband and five children - Mrs. Paul Klink and Mrs. 
Leonard Faidley, Meyersdale R.D.; Mrs. Gray Baker and Wilbert Engle, Meyersdale, 
and Sgt. Walter Engle, serving with the Army in the Philippines.  There are 11 
grandchildren.  Also surviving are a brother, Daniel Smith, Confluence R.D., and 
a sister, Mrs. Ellen Peck.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning at St. 
Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, by Rev. George Ely, pastor, under the 
direction of H. R. Konhaus, Meyersdale mortician.
