      Eva Jane Engle, 79 of Meyersdale, died January 2, 2008 at Sacred Heart 
  Hospital, Cumberland, MD.
      She was born July 8, 1928 in Sommerfield, daughter of the late Harvey 
  M. and Bessie (Klink) Hampe. Also preceded in death by her husband 
  Woodrow D. "Bung" Engle Sr., four sisters and five brothers.
      She is survived by these children: Randy Engle, and his wife Bridget, 
  Meyersdale; Karen, wife of Harold Hause, Stoystown; George Lung, and 
  his wife Roberta, Berlin; Bessie Lung, Meyersdale; Debbie, wife of Gary 
  Judge, Olympia, WA; Nancy Lung, Salisbury; and Gladys, wife of Richard 
  Wisseman, Springs.
      Also survived by step children: Woody Engle, Meyersdale; Joann Barker, 
  Meyersdale; and Donna DePalo, East Pittsburgh. Also 20 grandchildren 
  and 12 great grandchildren. A sister of: Dave Hampe, Leora Lensbower, 
  Doris Kleinert, Margaret Baughman, and Norma Crissey.
      Friends were received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Price 
  Funeral Home Meyersdale, where service was conducted on Monday, with 
  Rev. Scott Ream officiating. Interment St. Paul's (Wilhelm) Cemetery.
      Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family c/o Price 
  Funeral Home.
