  MRS GERTRUDE ENGLE 
  
    Mrs. Gertrude Engle, 71, Salisbury, died Thursday. Jan. 19, in Meyersdale
  Community hospital.  Born Feb. 26, 1995, in Elk Lick township, she was a
  daughter of Cyrus P. and Annie (Lenhart) Hersh.
    Surviving are her husband, Lester F.; four sons: Wilbur 13. and R. Wayne.
  both of Salisbury; Woodrow D.. Meyersdale, and Donald F., Baltimore; three
  daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Swauger, Salisbury; Mrs. Hilda Shumaker, Turtle
  Creek; Mrs. Audrey Tressler, Springs; 14 grandchildren, seven
  great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Clara Heinbaugh, Boynton.
    Funeral service was held at Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, on Saturday
  afternoon, with Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating.  Interment was made in
  St. Paul Wilhelm cemetery.
