HAROLD W. ENGLE

  The body of Harold W. Engle, aged 35, who died in Los Angeles, Dec. 27, arrived in Meyersdale Jan. 3, and was taken to the Price Funeral Chapel where funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 5th, by Rev. Kenneth Ashman, followed by interment in Union Cemetery.  He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Catherine McCleary of Glade City, by five brothers, Eugene and Emerson McCleary, Detroit; William McCleary, Meyersdale; Pfc. Kenneth W. McCleary, Camp Claiborne, La.; Pvt. Robert R. McCleary in North Africa, and one sister, Helen Ruth, at home.

  Harold W. Engle died in Los Angeles, Cal., on Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the age of 
35 years, 2 months and 10 days, having been born Oct. 18, 1908, in Summit 
Township, the son of Samuel Engle and Catherine (Spangler) Engle.  He is 
survived by his mother, Mrs. Catherine McCleary of Glade City.  The body is 
being shipped to the Price Funeral Home, and until it arrives funeral 
arrangements will not be completed.
