  ENGLE
  
    Helen Cook Engle, 87, of Garrett, died Nov. 30, 1998, in Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  She was born Nov. 8, 1911, in Meyersdale a daughter of the
  late Irvin andMaggie (Housel) Cook.  Also preceded in death by husband,
  Herbert Engle in 1943 and husband Carl Engle, in 1969; 3 brothers: Elmer,
  Arthur and Roy Cook; sister, Cordilla Casteel, and grandson, David Allen
  Engle.  She issurvived by two children: Herbert L., wife of Carol Sanner, of
  Garrett and Carrot, wife of William Miller, of Berlin. Seven grandchildren:
  Nancy Kritz, Karen Hittie, William Miller Jr., Herbert Jr., Craig, Chris
  and Heath Engle.  Sister of Pearl Siehl of Madison Heights, Mich. 
    Mrs. Engle formerly operated Engle's market in Meyersdale and was a
  Tuberware girl.  Member of Main Street Brethren Church.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Leckemby Funeral
  Home, where the service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Robert
  Stahl officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
