  ENGLE
  
    Jack A. Engle, 69, of Meyersdale died Jan. 16, 2001 in Conemaugh Memorial
  Medical Center.  He was born Oct. 19, 1931 in Summit Mills.  A son of Barbara
  (Baker) Engle of Meyersdale and the late Clyde Engle.  He is survived by his
  widow Emma Gene (Sweitzer) Engle, a son Jerry and his wife Mary Sue
  (Shaffer) of Meyersdale.  Two grandchildren, Bryan and Brooke. 
    He was a brother of Pearl, wife of Robert Walker and Hazel, wife of Sam
  Dirienzo of Garrett.  He is also survived by a sister-in-law Eleanor Dan and
  a brother-in-law Robert Sweitzer, both of Meyersdale.  He worked as a
  carpenter and farmer.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at Leckemby Funeral Home where the service will be at 11 a.m.
  Friday.  Interment, Hay's Mt. Zion Cemetery.  The family suggests
  thatcontributions be made to Hay's Mt. Zion Church in care of Emma Gene
  Engle, 744 Haysmill Road. Meyersdale, Pa. 15552.
