  ENGLE
  
    Leonard William Engle, 87, of Meyersdale, died April 25, 1989, in
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec 25, 1901, in Elk Lick Township, son of the late
  William and Margaret (White) Engle.  Preceded in death by his first wife, the
  former Emma Bender.  Also preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and
  Franklin, and a sister, Ethel Menhorn.  Survived by second wife, the former
  Mary Louise Baughman; also a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.  Member
  of the Zion Lutheran Church and Brotherhood Class.  Member of Springs
  Historical Society and Golden Age Club.  He was a retired painter. Friends
  will be received 2.4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale. 
    Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Zion Lutheran
  Church, with Pastor David Fetter officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
