  MRS. CHARLES ENGLE 
  
    Mrs. M. Alice Engle, 90, Meyersdale, died Feb. 8 in Meyersdale Community
  Hospital.
    Born in Glencoe, she was a daughter of the late Hiram and Sarah
  (Coughenour) Bittner.  Her husband, Charles Elmer Engle, preceded her in
  death.
    Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Lottie Stevanus, Turtle Creek; Mrs.
  Jennie Lippert, Ft. Myers, Fla.; Mrs. Sarah Johnson, North Palm Beach.
  Fla.; and Mrs. Helen Herring, Meyersdale; two sons, Robert Engle, Akron;
  and Carl, Encino. Calif.; also 10 grandchildren and seven
  great-grandchildren.
    She was a sister of Mrs. Edna Cook, Johnstown; Charles Bittner, Glencoe;
  and Samuel Bittner, Schellsburg.
    Funeral service was conducted at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on
  Sunday, Feb. 12, with Rev. Dean Pizer and Rev. Paul Snyder officiating.
    Interment was made in Union cemetery.
