Engle, 70, 22 Beaver Creek Drive, Warren, Ohio, died June 28 at Erie Veterans Hospital, Erie. Born March 24, 1912 in Meyersdale, he was the son of Irvin Elijah Engle and Mary Charlotte Livengood. Married to Anne Law Engle in 1967, he was employed by the Republic Steel Corporation for forty years until his retirement in 1969. He was affiliated with the Lordstown Lutheran Church, a life member of the DAV, a member of the Warren Moose. and served in the U.S. Army WW II. Survived by his wife Anne; daughter, Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Nims, Howland, Ohio; stepdaughter, Mrs. Linda Miller, Warren, Ohio; step-son, Robert Cameron, Matawan, NJ; two sisters: Mrs. Edgar (Freida) Louis, Lordstown, Ohio; Mrs. Donald (Alma) Logue, Warren, Ohio; two brothers : Evan Engle, Venus, Florida and Elijah Engle, Crystal Beach, Florida; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A brother Quinton preceded him in death. Serices will be conducted July 1 at 1:30pm in the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren, Ohio. The Republic, July 1, 1982 [E333]
