  RALPH C. ENGLE
  
    Ralph C. Engle, 92, of 309 Cumberland St., Berlin, died Feb. 8, 1978, at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 27, 1885, in Brothersvalley
  Township, he was a son of Samuel and Melissa (Bowman) Engle.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Nancy
  Miller; four sisters and two brothers.
    He is survived by one son, Samuel C. of Berlin, and one daughter, Mrs.
  Kathryn Sproul of Brookline, Pa., two grandchildren and two
  greatgrandchildren.
    He was a retired rural mail earrier and a member of the Holy Trinity
  Lutheran Chureh in Berlin and the Hillerest Grange.
    Funeral services were held Saturday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home
  with the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF
  Cemetery.
