  RAY E. ENGLE
  
    Ray E. Engle, 77, of Berlin, died Nov. 8, 1972.  Born in Elk Lick
  Township, May 23, 1895, he was a son of Douglas and Sarah (Folk) Engle.
    Surviving are his wife the former Bertha Handwerk; these children:
  Robert, Mineral Point; Mrs. Nada Schrock, Berlin; Mrs. Helen Diest, LaVale,
  Md.; Mrs. Marian Gindlesperger, and Ray Jr, both of Berlin; nine
  grandchildren; a brother, Lester Engle, Salisbury and a sister, Mrs. Emma
  Menhorn, Meyersdale.
    He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Roxbury. and a retired
  farmer and coal miner.  Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon in
  Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Herald V. Seese
  officiating.  Interment in St. Paul Cemetery, Meyersdale RD 1.
