Engle Jr., 22, Meyersdale RD 1, died unexpectedly Dec. 17, on Meyersdale RD 1. Born in Meyersdale May 10, 1944, he was a son of Lillian (Wise) Engle and the late Virgil E. Engle. Surviving are his mother, Meyersdale RD 1; a sister, Mrs. Nancy Jones, Salisbury, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Wise, Meyersdale RD 1. Entering the Army in July 1965, he was stationed at Ft. Benning, Ga., as a clinical psychologist in a medical company at Martin Army Hospital, mental hygiene division. He attended American University Extension Center at Ft. Benning, and is a graduate of Salisbury-Elk Lick high school in the...[sic] He was a member of the United Church of Christ, St. Paul, where funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon, with the pastor, Rev. Richard Harder, officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery, under direction of Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Military graveside rites were conducted by Earl H.
