(Mike) English Jr., 58, Champion RD 1, died June 6, 1984, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Oct. 7, 1925, in Beaver Falls, Pa., he was the son of the late Claire H. and Josephine Hoyt English. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary (Deke) D'Angelo; and these children: Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Svonavec, Greg H. and Brad H., all of Somerset RD 4; seven grandchildren; and one aunt, Blanche Hoyt of Beaver Falls. Was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh. Owner of the C.H. English Co. Served with the Army Engineer Corps, during World War II. He had attended Carnegie Mellon University and graduated from Geneva College. Friends will be received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with Dr. William T. Doncaster officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
