He was born in Somerset County on February 2, 1878, son of Sophia (Bird) and Isaiah Enos, and was 68 years, 7 months and 6 days old at his death. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Catherine (Patton) Enos, he is survived by two sons, Bert Edward and Philip Ray, both at home; five daughters; Mrs. Mamie Butler and Mrs. Iva Butler, both of Fort Hill; Sarah Elizabeth, St. Paul; Lucy and Minnie Alice, at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Sechler and Mrs. Minnie Engle, both of St. Paul. Funeral services were conducted in the St. Paul Reformed Church at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10th, the pastor, Rev. George K. Ely, officiating. Interment in the Ringer Cemetery, Addison Township, in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, April 17, 1947
