Born Nov. 16, 1928, in Milford Township, son of the late Ross D. and Daisy (Snyder) Enos. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Paul; infant sister; sisters, Blanche and Mrs. Alpha (Charles) Kaufman, May 15, 1996. Survived by wife, Peggy (Pritts) Enos, and one son, Eric Ernest, Rockwood. Member of Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville, presently serving as treasurer on church council. Member of Somerset Lodge 358 F.& A.M., Harrisburg Consistory and Jaffa Shrine of Altoona. A 30-year member of the Laurel Hill Lions Club. Death ends a marriage union of 45 1/2 years. Retired farmer. Employed as a cleaner for Somerset Area Schools and a bus driver for Davis Enterprises. He and, his wife were known as the "Ever Ready Travelers." Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Messiah Lutheran Church: Body will lie in state in the church Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., the hour of service, Pastor John Palko officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Laurel Hill Lions Club will conduct memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Somerset Lodge 358, F.& A.M. will conduct memorial service in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be given to Messiah Lutheran Church, 134 Bridge St., Rockwood, Pa., 15557.
