Enos, 80, Confluence RD 1, died Jan. 2, 1987, in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 15, 1906, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, son of the late John and Gertrude (Stairs) Enos. Survived by his wife, the former Estella Silbaugh. His death ended a marriage union of 53 years. Also survived by three daughters: Martha Walker, York; Sally Thompson, Middlefield, Ohio; and Patricia Basinger, Thompson, Ohio; two sons: Robert and Marshall Randy, both of Confluence; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters: Martha Anderson, Pittsburgh; Verna Alcott, Pittsburgh, and Mildred Silbaugh, Ebensburg; two brothers: Glenn and William, both of Confluence. Preceded in death by son, John Lester; two brothers, Samuel and Alvin; and a great-grandson, Steven Glover. He was a coal miner and a retired farmer. He served three years in the U.S. Calvary. Friends are being received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral services will be held Monday (today) at 11 a.m., with the Rev. John R. Wilson officiating.
