Enos, 17, of Laughlintown (Laurel Mountain Boro), died Jan. 25, 2003. Born Feb. 26, 1985 in Greensburg, a son of Robert and Diane Walsh Enos. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Kassie Elizabeth Enos, at home; maternal grandparents, Regis and Anne Walsh of Pittsburgh; paternal grandfather, L. Dale Enos of Somerset and paternal grandparents Marlys and Ralph Blansett of Stoystown. Also many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Nick was a captain of the Ligonier Valley High School soccer and basketball teams and was involved in the Senior Mentor Program, the Senior Class Committee, SADD, a volunteer coach and referee for the Ligonier Valley YMCA and loved volunteering to help special need youth. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ligonier. His sister Kassie says that in addition to being her big brother he was also her best friend who passed on to her the love of sports. Nick will be remembered as always smiling and laughing with family and friends and maintained a deep spirit of kindness and compassion for others. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel Inc., 144 East Main Street, Ligonier, where a vigil for the deceased will beheld at 6 p.m. Tuesday. A blessing service will he held at 10 a.m. Wednesday followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph P. Maddalena, celebrant. (Everyone please go directly to the church.) Interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. The family requests no flowers.
