  EPPLEY
  
  J. Marian Eppley, 78, Boswell RD 1, formerly of Thomasdale, died July 10,
  1985, at Mercy Hospital Convalescent Center.  Born Aug. 27, 1906, in
  Johnstown, daughter of Harry and Elsie (Gardner) Boyer.  Preceded in death
  by parents; husband, Ira M. Sr., who died Jan. 10, 1976; a son, John F.;
  daughter, Josephine; two sisters; five brothers; and three grandchildren.
  Survived by these children: Ira M. Jr., married to former Alice Gabriel,
  Hollsopple RD 2; Sally Lou, wife of Clifford Stutzman, Hollsopple RD 1;
  David J., married to the former Cathie Shaffer, and Linda, wife of Larry
  Shaffer, both of Boswell RD 1; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
  Sister of: David, Hollsopple RD 2, and Harry, Pasadena, Md.  Also
  daughter-in-law, Genevieve Eppley, Hollsopple RD 2.  Charter member of
  Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle.  Also member Maple Spring Church of the
  Brethren and Slough Mennonite Church Sewing Circles.   Friends received 7-9
  p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main
  Street, Boswell.  Service 2 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Mennonite Church, where
  the body may be viewed from 1 p.m. until time of service, the Rev. Chauncey
  J. Ickes.  Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to
  the Gideon Living Memorial Bible Fund would be appreciated.
