  Emma Lena (Krause) Erisman, 97, Boswell RD 2, died June 9, 1993, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 29, 1896, in Creston, Neb., daughter of August
  Jacob and Anna Mary (Held) Krause.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  George Sheridan Erisman Sr.; sons: George Sheridan Jr. and George August; 1
  sister and 4 brothers; grandson, Dennis Thomas, and granddaughter, Sally
  Thomas.  Survived by these children: Martha A., widow of Ellwood Lape,
  Hollsopple RD 2; Emma Louise, widow of Raymond Thomas, Boswell RD 2, with
  whom she resided; William R., married to former Pauline Weintrout,
  Langhorne; Charles, married to former Jacqueline Christianson, San Jose,
  Calif.; James, married to former Marjorie Clemens, Westland, Mich.;
  Richard, married to former Shirley Walters, Johnstown; Jack, married to
  former Doreen Hamilton, New Port Richey, Fla.; Emily Jane, wife of Donald
  Krause, Alexandria, Va.; Kenneth, Woodbridge, Va.; sister-in law, Dorothy
  Erisman, Johnstown RD; also 29 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  Attended Spring Church the Brethren where
  she was a member of Maple Spring Circle 3.  Also member of auxiliary to Church
  of Brethren Home.  Past member of American War Mothers and Laurel Trinity
  Knotty women's group.  Family receiving friends from 7 to 9 Thursday and 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.
  Funeral service at 10 am. Saturday at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren,
  the Rev. Beverly Good and the Rev. Edward Corneilson officiating.
  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
