  ESCH

  John Robert Esch, 70, of Berlin died Jan. 18, 1997, at home.  Born Aug. 3,
  1926, in Altoona.  Son of John J. and Edna A. (Livingston) Esch.  Preceded in
  death by parents and brother, William M.  Survived by his wife of 36 years,
  the former Lois R. Walker; daughter, Barbara, married to Tim Peachey of
  Landisville, and son, James M., married to the former Stacy Tartar, of St.
  Louis, Mo.  Grandchildren: Sarah and Benjamin Peachey and Devin Esch.  A
  World War II Army veteran. 
  Retired teacher from Salisbury, Berlin, and Marple Newtown high schools.
  Member and Elder of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset.  Member and
  former treasurer of Berlin Lions Club.  Member of Tub Mill Art Association.
  Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held at 11 am. Tuesday, Rev. Keith M. Fink.
  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to St.
  Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset, or Berlin Lions Club.
