  ESHERICK 
  
  Mrs. Clara B. Esherick, 95, South Center Ave., Somerset, died Jan. 9, 1977,
  in Somerset Community Hosiptal.  She was born March 22, 1881 in Quemahoning
  Township, a daughter of the late John Alec and Nancy Bowman Maurer.
  Preceded in death by husband, Austin W., a son, a daughter and three
  sisters.  Survived by two children, Mrs. Robert B. (Betty) Spangler and
  Ernest Dale, both of Somerset; four grandchildren; and three
  great-grandchildren.  Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the
  War Mothers.   Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
  with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger.  Interment, Stoystown IOOF Cemetery.
