   John G. Etling, 78, Grafton, W.Va., formerly of Connellsville, passed away, March 27,
  2007, in the Monongalia General hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Born Feb. 1, 1929, in Wyano,
  a son of the late Clarence and Nora Mae Alexander Etling. In addition to his parents, he
  was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Dolores Etling. Survived by his loving wife of 47
  years, Ella Mae Lewis Etling; a daughter, Kimberly M. Schaefer and husband, George,
  Grafton, W.Va.; his stepchildren, Edward Mulnix and wife, Vickie, and Sandra Baer and
  husband, Richard, all of Meyersdale; and James Mulnix and wife, Kathy, White; 10
  grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne L. Etling, Connellsville.
  John is a graduate of Connellsville High School. He is a veteran of the Korean War having
  served in the U.S. Army. He had served in the Army from January 1951 to December 1952 and
  in Korea from October 1951 to November 1952. Prior to his retirement, John worked for 43
  years for the B&O Railroad and later CXS. A member of the Grafton Lodge 15 F&AM, Knights
  Templar, Copestone 12 RAM and the Eastern Star Naomi Chapter 12. He was also a member of
  Saint John's United Methodist Church, Grafton. John's family would like to thank the
  Taylor County Hospice for all of their kind and thoughtful service that was provided
  during John's illness. Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 East Green St.,
  Connellsville, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Kevin
  Broadwater officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Mount Olive
  Cemetery, Bullskin Township. Military rite will be conducted at the cemetery by the
