Evans, 50, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Central City, RD 1, died Feb. 20, 1986, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 31, 1935, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of Ethel (Baughman) Walker of Central City RD 1 and the late Clarence R. Walker. Preceded in death by sister, Marion Jean, and brother, Alvin Gene. Survived by husband, Leo, whom she married June 28, 1976; step-daughter, Mrs. Russell (Sylvia) Rodehaver of Oakland, Md.; step-son, David John Evans of Keyser, W. Va.; and five step-grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Melvin (Elizabeth) Custer, Berlin RD 1; Mrs. Howard (Kathleen) Frombaugh of Johnstown; Mrs. Michael (Patricia) Nazak of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Eleanor Stutzman of Friedens RD 2; Mrs. William (Marie) Mort of Owings, Md.; Blair of Somerset; Telford of Boswell RD 2; Carl of Manheim; and Donald of Carlisle. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at DeanerFuneral Home, Stoystown. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, W.Va., where service will be held at II a.m. Monday with the Rev Greg Rotruck officiating.
