  EVANS
  
  Charles Evans Sr., 80, of Rockwood RD 3, died Wednesday, Dec. 14 in the
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 27, 1908 in Connelsville, Pa., son
  of the late Fenton Thomas and Isabelle (Newmyer) Evans.  He was a former
  resident of Sewickley, Pa.  He was a retired sales manager for the Norelco
  Corporation in New York.  He was also affiliated with the Christian Church
  of Connelsville.  He was formerly married to the former Dorothy Bell Evans,
  of Manchester, Vt.  Survived by: his wife Jane (Porter) Evans; two sons:
  John Fenton Evans, Minneapolis, Mn.; and Charles R. Evans Jr., of New York
  City.  There will be no public visitation.  Graveside services will be held
  at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Hill Grove Cemetery, Connelsville with the Rev.
  Ty Sabena officiating.  Arrangements under the direction of the Brooks
  Funeral Home, Inc. 111 East Green St., Connelsville.
