  DAVID D. EVANS
   
  David Daniel Evans, 69, of 548 Eastern Avenue, Cumberland, Md., died April
  23, 1981 at his home.  He was born April 24, 1911, in Hyndman, and was a son
  of the late George Evans and Ida (Grimes) Evans.  He was a retired employee
  of Celanese Fibers Company, he was a member of Textile Workers Union 1879
  and FOE Aerie 245.  He is survived by his widow, Mildred (Athey) Evans; two
  sons, David H. Evans, Bedford RD 3; Roger N. Evans, RD 2, Baltimore Pike;
  and five grandchildren.  Friends were received at the Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman where funeral services were conducted with the Rev. William
  Sampsell officiating.  Interment will be in Hyndman Cemetery.  Aerie 295
  members served as pallbearers.  FOE 245 held a memorial service in the
  funeral home.  The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of
  memorials to the American Cancer Society.
