  WALTER P, EVANS
   
  Walter P. Evans, 82, died Nov, 6, 1981 in Bedford County Memorial Hospital.
  He was born in Hyndman, Nov. 13, 1899, he was a son of the late John and
  Ellen (Gorman) Evans.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bessie
  (Smith) Evans.  Mr. Evans was a member of Central Christian Church and was a
  retired laborer for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  He was a
  life long resident of Hyndman.  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary
  Sarver, Hyndman RD; Mrs. Marie Imler, Hyndman and Mrs. Dorothy Martin,
  Buffalo Mills RD; a brother, Warren Evans, Hyndman, 16 grandchildren and
  13 great-grandchildren.  Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler
  Funeral Home.  Services were conducted in Central Christian Church with
  Pastor Galen Beitzel and the Rev. H.B. Rittenhouse officiating Interment
  will be in Hyndman Cemetery.
