  ELSIE M. EVERETT
   
  Elsie M. Everett, 81, of 261 Fourth Street, Jerome, died unexpectedly May
  22, 1980, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  She was born August 26, 1898 in
  Pittsburgh, daughter of Samuel and Kathryn (Custer) Miller.  She was
  preceded in death by parents; husband, Floyd W., who died May 22, 1975;
  sisters, Ethel, Mary and Ruth; and brother, Harvey.  She is survived by
  these children: Betty, and Glenn, married to the former Jean Layton, both
  of Jerome; Clyde W., New Brunswick, N.J.; Dorothy, wife of Theodore
  Glessner, Boswell; Emily, wife of Owen Weaver, Hollsopple RD 1; and Jeanne,
  wife of Joseph Flory, West Unity, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 8
  great-grandchildren.  She was the sister of Mrs. Betty Pritts, Berlin; and
  Samuel Miller, Somerset.  She was a longtime member of Jerome Lutheran
  Church and was a member of LCW of the church, Hollsopple Senior Citizens
  and Auxiliary to Jerome Fire Company.  She was a Jerome resident for many
  years.  Friends were received at Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny Street,
  Boswell.  Funeral services were conducted with the Rev. George A. Clark
  officiating.  Interment, I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin.
