  Lewis V. Ewing, 69, of Boswell RD 1, Died Jufy 15, 1995 at Memorial Medical
  Center in Johnstown.  Born Feb. 14, 1926 in Johnstown, son of Oliver L. and
  Cora M. (Emerick) Ewing.  Preceded in death by parents, brother, Robert E,
  Sr,, sister-in-law, Beverfy Ewing and niece, Felicia Ewing.  Survived by
  wife, the former Hazel F. Speicher, sons Douglas and Lewis Michael, both of
  Boswell RD 1, six grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Melanie Inks, Tammy Lewis
  Jr. and Jason and Christopher Ewing.  One great granddaughter Kayla Brea
  Davis and father-in-law Edward Speicher, Boswell RD 1.  Brother of Evelyn,
  wife of Charles Balogh, Tarpon Springs, Fla,, Donald, married to Barbara
  Hobba, Guilford Conn, Oliver, Manassas, Va., and Patricia, wife of Edward
  Gowarty, Jerome.  Also survived by sisters-in-law, Lucy Ewing, Jerome, and
  Ruth Parent, Port Elizabeth, N.J., aunt, Grace Emerick, Santa Maria, Calif.
  and numerous other relatives.  Member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle,
  Jennerstown, Member and former treasurer of the Jerome Sportsmen's Club.
  Retired cook for Seven Springs Resort.  Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
  Pastors C.J. Ickes and Gary Anderson officiating.  Interment Beam Cemetery
  near Gray.  Graveside military rite in charge of Somerset County Army
  National Guard, Co. C.
