Facenbaker, oldest son of Mrs. Mary DeLozier and her first husband, the late Alexander Facenbaker, died in a government hospital in Honululu, capital of the Hawaiian Islands, March 8, 1931, aged 20 years, 2 months and 6 days. He enlisted in the United States Army on the 10th of June, 1930, and was in the service of his country when he died. His death was caused by nephritis, a disease of the kidneys. His mother had learned of his illness before he died, and received a telegram announcing his death soon after it occurred. The body will be shipped to the mother at government expense and it is expected to arrive here within the next few weeks, and will be buried with military honors. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved mother, who but recently lost her third husband, the late Howard W. DeLozier, an aged Civil War Veteran. Meyersdale Republican, March 12, 1931
