   Elden T. Faidley, 83, Markleton, died March 31, 2007, in Meyersdale Medical Center. Born
  May 16, 1923, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a son of Archie an Mabel (Saler) Faidley.
  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Betty A. Tressler Faidley; and sisters, Mary Ellen
  and Leona Faidley. He is survived by daughter, Cheryl A. Pletcher and husband, Wayne;
  son, Bearl L. Faidley and wife, Teresa, all of Markleton; three grand-sons, Nathan A.
  Faidley and Brittany; Nicholas B. Faidley and Jonathan W. Pletcher; a great-grandson,
  Tucker Jon-Elden Faidley and a brother and best friend, Harold Faidley, Markleton. He was
  a member of the Kingwood Church of God, Rex Critchfield American Legion Post 946 Ursina,
  and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence where a service will be held at 11
  a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. James Monticue and Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment,
  Kingwood IOOF Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to the Kingwood Church of
  God.
