Faidley, 74, Somerset RD 3, died Sept. 29, 1986, in his home. Born April 30, 1912, in Lincoln Twp., son of the late Bruce and Mary Grace (Sanner) Faidley. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles and Ray; infant sister, Mary Ann; one stepson; first wife, the former Emma Elizabeth Stahl; and second wife, the former Iva Marie (Daniels) Miller; and three grandchildren. Survived by three daughters: Janet, wife of Edward Klink, Esther, wife of James Ash, and Charlotte, wife of James Mix, all of Somerset RD 3; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 38 step-grandchildren and four great-step-grandchildren. He was a brother of: Norman and Elmer, both of Somerset RD 3; George, Somerset RD 8; and one sister, Ruth, wife of Clair Sheele, Mt. Pleasant; these stepchildren: Mrs. Tom (Shirley) Rhodes, Mrs. Richard (Darlene) Skero and Mrs. James (Jackie) Armel, all of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Norman (Betty) Bungard, South West, Pa.; Sam Sheets, Il., Mrs. Ralph (Christine) Van Sickle and Mrs. Richard (Adrian) Shultz, all of Somerset; Steven and Jeffrey Miller, both of Connellsville; Derl (Gene) Miller, Iowa; Mrs. Roy (Ruby) McGee and Gregory Miller, both of Carmichaels; and Joy Morrin, Texas. He was a member of the Sipesville Church of the Brethren and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Krestar officiating. Interment, Casebeer Cemetery.
