Faidley, 77, of Somerset, died Nov. 10, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born June 28, 1906, in Somerset, a son of the late John E. and Minnie (Rau) Faidley. Also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys G. Pugh; and these children: Mrs. Kenneth (Delores) Resh, Somerset; Ray A. of Hershey; grandchildren: Timothy E. and David C. Resh and Julia K. and Jeffery R. Faidley; also two great-grandchildren: Darah L. and John A. Resh. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Somerset, past president of Somerset County Saddle and Horse Assn., member of the Tri-County Horse and Mule Assn., retired dairyman from the Milton Hershey School, former employee of Watkins and the McNess companies. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Elam Bender and the Rev. Percy Ellenberger officiating.
